This farm game is easy to get into and promises plenty of gameplay as you gain levels, grow your farm and attract customers to stay in business. My Free Farm has good appeal to both newcomers to this genre and long-time fans thanks to its simple design and good tutorial which is also paired with plenty of freedom as the game slowly opens up. The game does this by slowly unlocking new elements of the game with each new level to keep you from being overrun with options right from the start. Gameplay in My Free Farm has you operating your own farm with the goal to complete quests and fill visitor orders. Using these quest rewards and profits from trading you’ll be able to expand your farm further in and endless cycle that fans of games like Hay Day will be familiar with. This cycle is more enjoyable than most farming simulation games thanks to the steady unlocking of new features. In addition to planting crops, raising animals and even harvesting flowers players will also have control over the buildings that make up their farm. These buildings unlock new opportunities to refine and manufacture different items from the raw materials on your farm to increase their worth. World of Warplanes - Coming off the success of World of Tanks Wargaming moved into the plane industry with their similarly designed MMO, World of Warplanes. It’s got all the features that made their original game so popular but changes up the vehicles that you’ll be piloting. Planes aim to be a historical and accurate representation of what is used in the real aviation world with planes being based on German, Soviet Union, USA, Great Britain and Japan engineering. Each of these countries comes with their own technology tree for players to advance through that will take you from simple planes to more powerful aircraft. With each country having their own strength you’ll find your strategy having to change up based on your opponent. The action starts at your hangar in World of Warplanes where players can choose the aircraft they want to take into battle, upgrade them with new parts or customise them with a unique look. Planes fall into three broad categories (fighter, heavy fighter and attack aircraft) which dictate your playstyle and role in a team environment. For better comparison (and to help ease the learning curve for new players) aircraft stats are broken down into four stats (hit points, fire power, airspeed and manoeuvrability) to make planes easily comparable. Customisation doesn’t stop there though in World of Planes with crew training and skills further allowing you to create a plane that works for you in the heat of battle. Unlocking all this customisation requires you to step into the 15v15 PvP battles to earn experience and currency to take back to your hangar. Matches are won or lost based on your teams ability to have supremacy over your opponent (destroying key ground targets and enemy aircraft) with the victor getting a nice boost to their rewards for that match. With upgrades and unlocks becoming available at a steady pace you’ll keep coming back to World of Warplanes be it for long term gaming sessions or quick battles from time to time.

Imperia Online - Imperia Online is a browser based strategy adventure that has been constantly developing since its original release in 2005. It now commands a large community across iOS, Android and your browser, where it began. Set in a medieval world like many others in the genre players begin their journey as an emperor of an undeveloped province. As the game progresses this province slowly takes shape through construction and all sorts of upgrades that lets you create your ideal settlement. In order to achieve this growth players will have to master the process of resource generation, trading, raiding and diplomacy. As time passes you can increase your area of influence through alliances or capturing adjoining territories that can be colonised. Imperia Online uses the four resources of wood, iron, stone and gold which are all generated from buildings that must be built and upgraded. Gold is slightly different than the other three resources though and is generated by selling other resources in the market, collected through taxes and other limited actions. Imperia Online does also introduce some extra depth in the resource department through a special resource system with dozens of unique resources that can be found throughout the game world to provide all sorts of additional bonuses. Buildings are equally varied and one of the best elements of Imperia Online with nearly 30 different structures that can not only be built but also upgraded numerous times to improve their resource or troop output while unlocking new technological advances. Battles are where the game really shines through though with enough complexity to keep combat interesting and strategic throughout your play time. Imperia Online achieves this by splitting units into 4 different military types (light, heavy, elite and siege) and then combining this with player controlled battle formations which heavily drive the battle outcome. This is then further refined by attack options that allow players to focus on attacking the enemy army head on, sieging their fortress or pillaging the civilian population which each have different results. With some light RPG features through the recent addition of court noblemen that gain experience over time to help boost resource or battle effectiveness Imperia Online is one of the premium strategy games on offer.
